Drunken words are sober thoughts

You realize you really love someone when looks aren’t your main focus anymore. What makes you attracted to the one you love is their personality. You just love to be around them because you love them inside and out. When you don’t want to be anywhere that they’re not, when you don’t want to participate in an event because they won’t be there next to you. No matter what choices they decide to make, you stand behind them and support them. When the only thing on your mind every minute every hour of everyday is that person. That’s love.

And it’s not until months or years later that you realize that you don’t hurt anymore. So the challenge is to be patient. But if you can make it through the first weeks and months, if you believe healing is possible, then you can get your life back. But that’s a big “if”.

Every time I look at my phone I’m hoping to see a text from you. A text that says “I miss you”. Day after day Ill keep waiting for you, because once you find someone that you’re so in love with, you never give up on them. I’ll give you time, and my whole heart. Ill never give up on love.

Say that you love me even if it’s not true, and say that this storm is just passing through. Baby tell me you’re not leaving, its just the rainy season. The airs getting heavy and we both know why. So dance one more dance and tell one more lie. Lets keep make believing that its just the rainy season. We’re taking on water drop after drop we’re destroying this house and eachother. I know you understand that theres no map theres no plan. And the way we say goodbye is not the way that anyone would do. Like a wave out on the ocean i will always come right back to you. Like a blink, not a moment is gone. We’ll pick up right where we left off. Nothing changed, nothing fades, nothing lost, and we just pick up right where we left off.
